Due to the majority of our staff not being able to get out of their driveway, our Ozark location will be closed today. Rogersville will be open!

Both locations are now closed for the day. We hope to be back open tomorrow, weather permitting!

New Policy For 2025 There are 260 working days a year. One no-call no-show per working day on a $25 haircut is a loss of $6,500 a year in revenue. We average about 6 no-call no-shows per day (3 per location). That is a loss of $39,000 a year in revenue for our business just from people not showing up to the appointment they booked! Due to the rampant amount of no-call no-shows we had from people who booked appointments and then didn't show up to them in 2024, we will be implementing a new policy in 2025. You will now be required to put a credit card on file when you book an appointment. That credit card will be charged 50% of the service price that was booked if you no-call no-show your appointment. After your second no-show you will no longer be able to book an appointment with us. We hate to do this, but the fact is we are losing a ton of money from people no calling and not showing up to their appointments. Unfortunately some bad apples ruined it for everyone and we are forced into this policy.

Don't wait! We are booking up fast and this Saturday will be your last chance to get a cut before Christmas!

We are thankful for each and every one of our customers who have supported the OG for the past 8 years. We couldn't do it without you so THANK YOU and Happy Thanksgiving to all!

Fun OG Fact - 8 years ago, when we were in the development process and laying the foundation of building a barbershop, we had a totally different name planned. The first name we came up with for our barbershop concept was Outlaw Country Barber Shop.. We had the logo designed and paperwork all drawn up and we had planned on calling it The OC for short.. As we were sitting in the office getting ready to sign the papers for Outlaw Country Barber Shop, it hit me.... "We should call it Outlaw Gentlemen Barber Shop and call it The OG for short" And that is the moment the Outlaw Gentlemen Barber Shop was born.... Check out the original logo we drew up 8 years ago below..

We Need People Who Can Cut Hair!! Our barbers are booked solid and we have to turn people away every day so if you're a new barber looking to build a clientele extremely fast then we have a chair for you.

At The OG, our slogan is "Reviving Tradition, Redefining Style," and we take the "Reviving Tradition" part quite literally. The photograph displayed below captures a moment frozen in time, circa 1921. Check out the classic barber pole. Can you see it? This, my friends, is a vintage barber shop, the foundations of this building and barber shop were laid back in 1914. Remarkably, today, 109 years later, Outlaw Gentlemen Barber Shop in Ozark, Missouri, occupies the exact same space within that exact same historic building. Reviving Tradition, Redefining Style.

We've been getting a lot of messages so figured we better make a post. Yes, Kix is still cutting hair but he is currently only cutting in our Ozark location.. He is cutting Tuesday through Saturday in Ozark until October 1st.. After that he plans to split his time between Ozark and Rogersville. If you need him between now and October 1st you will have to book him over at our Ozark location. All appointments already scheduled with him in Rogersville will automatically be moved to Ozark on the same day and time you already had scheduled. Thank you.

We're opening our doors next Tuesday, the 22nd but just a heads up, we only have two barbers for Ozark right now, our owner Kix Nelson and our Ozark shop manager Grace Crews. That means booking times are limited. Our appointments always come first which means accepting walk-ins will be difficult for now until we are fully staffed in this store.. We highly recommend booking an appointment if you want a guaranteed spot. We look forward to seeing you next week!
